From the point of view of infrastructure, high-speed lines should consist of: - lines specially built for high speed equipped for speeds generally equal to or greater than 250 km/h; - lines specially upgraded for high speed equipped for speeds of the order of 200 km/h; - lines specially upgraded for high speed which are of a special nature on account of topographical, relief or urban environment difficulties on which the speed must be adapted on a case-by-case basis.
