Il regolamento (UE) n. 1106/2012, del 27 novembre 2012, che attua il regolamento (CE) n. 471/2009 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio, relativo alle statistiche comunitarie del commercio estero con i paesi terzi, per quanto riguarda l’aggiornamento della nomenclatura dei paesi e territori , ha soppresso le Antille olandesi dalla versione della nomenclatura dei paesi e territori per le statistiche del commercio estero dell’Unione e del commercio tra i suoi Stati membri, valida a decorrere dal 1o gennaio 2013, ed ha incluso nella stessa Bonaire, Sint Eustatius e Saba, Curaçao e Sint Maarten (parte neerlandese) e il Sud Sudan.
