Il 9 gennaio 2013 il Ministro libico degli affari esteri e della cooperazione internazionale ha indirizzato una lettera all’Alto rappresentante dell’Unione per gli affari esteri e la politica di sicurezza (AR) nella quale accoglie con favore la proposta in ambito PSDC dell’Unione di fornire alle autorità libiche sostegno per sviluppare la capacità di accrescere la sicurezza delle frontiere libiche a breve termine e assistenza per sviluppare un concetto più ampio di gestione integrata delle frontiere a più lungo termine.
On 9 January 2013, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya addressed a letter to the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (HR), welcoming the Union’s CSDP proposal to support the Libyan authorities in developing the capacity to enhance the security of Libya’s borders in the short term, and to assist in developing a broader strategic Integrated Border Management (IBM) concept in the longer term.
