Rispettivamente nel settembre 1991 e nel giugno 1992, alla Commissione sono pervenute le denunce presentate da Masterfoods Ireland Ltd (Mars) e Valley Ice Cream Ltd in relazione agli accordi di distribuzione stipulati da HB Ice Cream Ltd (una consociata del gruppo Unilever, operante oggi con il nome di Van den Bergh Foods Ltd) per i propri gelati d'impulso nella Repubblica d'Irlanda.

Im September 1991 und Juli 1992 gingen bei der Kommission Beschwerden von Masterfoods Ireland Ltd (Mars) und Valley Ice Cream Ltd. ein, die sich gegen die Vertriebsvereinbarungen der HB Ice Cream Ltd., eine inzwischen unter dem Namen Van den Bergh Foods Ltd. taetige Unilever-Tochter, fuer ihr Impulseis in der Republik Irland richteten.
