Sono compresi, fra l’altro, i rivestimenti e le pitture per pavimenti; i prodotti tinti dai distributori su richiesta di clienti professionisti e non professionisti; i sistemi di tintura; le pitture decorative, liquide o in pasta, pretrattate, colorate o preparate dal fabbricante per soddisfare le esigenze dei consumatori, compresi impregnanti per legno e impalcati, rivestimenti per muratura e prodotti per il finissaggio dei metalli (escluse finiture e fondi anticorrosivi) nonché fondi (e sottofondi) per tali prodotti.
Dazu gehören unter anderem auch Fußbodenbeschichtungsstoffe und -farben, auf Wunsch privater oder gewerblicher Innengestalter vom Vertreiber abgetönte Produkte, Abtönungssysteme, sowie nach dem Kundenbedarf vom Hersteller vorbehandelte, getönte oder zubereitete flüssige oder pastose Dekorationsbeschichtungsstoffe, einschließlich Holzfarben, Holzbeizen und -lasuren, Beschichtungsstoffe für Mauerwerk und Metallschlussanstrichstoffe (ohne Rostschutzmittel und -grundierungen), sowie Grundierungen (und Voranstrichstoffe) für solche Produktsysteme.
